MSNBC caught in live shaming segment. not wearing masks themselves.

Yesterday MSNBC “news” lol put together a live segment in Wisconsin attempting to shame anyone out in the street as “just not worried about their own personal safety.” As the the story continues to be reported, a noticeable person wearing a Green Bay Packers jersey makes his way onto camera walking back and forth and appears to be recording the unfolding scene himself as if he’s refereeing the action.

When the MSNBC reporter Cal Perry proceeds to convey an overall “reckless” vibe of this very normal scene where 20 – 30 people are seen walking out in public for the for Memorial day weekend. He describes the scene where “… nobody is wearin em…..nodody is uhhh” and then the man in the jersey utters the quote that brings the situation to a very quick and unexpected conclusion. “And neither is the cameraman.” The reporter in a snap reaction just repeats “And neither is the cameraman.” to confirm.

You would hope the people working for such a “reputable news” source would be better at demonstrating the same behaviour it wishes others would practice themselves. This slip up, at first just seems lazy but also conveys how hollow some moral stances can be. They weren’t blatantly shaming the people for being out in public but it was definitely cryptic and is one step away from producing a piece about the dangers of smoking while the person behind the camera lights up.
